Joe Montana’s son Nick Montana could easily have followed in the footsteps of his legendary father, former NFL star Joe Montana, and committed to Notre Dame. But he was more interested in charting his own destiny so he didn’t commit to the Notre Dame and instead committed to the Washington. Nick Montana was ranked the No. 10 senior quarterback recruit by ESPNU. He was earlier playing for the Oaks Christian School team in Westlake Village, California, where he used to share the limelight with receiver Trey Smith, son of actor Will Smith, and quarterback Trevor Gretzky, son of former hockey star Wayne Gretzky.
